The Journal
of the private chauffeur

Advice, benchmarks and behind-the-scenes notes on private chauffeur travel in Paris and Île-de-France, written by the Rogsan Prestige team.

Editorial

Understanding chauffeur travel,
without the jargon

This journal gathers the questions our clients actually ask us on the phone: what makes a ride vary, what separates a private chauffeur from a Paris taxi, what is expected when you step out of the car, and how to organise a day in Paris when you only have one day.

Every article comes from our daily practice since 2012: transfers to Roissy, Orly, Beauvais and Le Bourget, full-day chauffeur hire, long-distance journeys across France and Europe. No theory — just what we see on the road.

Our method

Written by the people
who drive

We do not publish articles written from a distance. Every text starts from a real situation: a delayed flight at Roissy, a wedding to run to the minute, a Japanese client discovering Paris who knows neither the streets nor the customs.

That is also why our answers stay nuanced. The right vehicle, the right timing and the right format depend on context — we would rather explain it than oversimplify.

Frequently asked

The journal,
explained

The questions that come up most often about our articles and the way we work.

  • 01

How often do you publish new articles?

There is no fixed calendar. An article appears when the same question comes up often enough on the phone to deserve a written answer, documented and checked by the chauffeurs who actually drive the route.

  • 02

Does the advice apply outside Paris?

Largely, yes. Our articles focus on Paris and Île-de-France, but the guidance on booking, luggage, waiting time and vehicle choice applies just as well to our long-distance journeys across France and Europe.

  • 03

    Do your articles quote fares?

They explain the criteria that make a ride vary — distance, time of day, vehicle class, number of passengers — without a fixed table. The firm figure is sent to you by Sanaâ in answer to your enquiry, before anything is confirmed.

  • 04

Can I book directly from an article?

Yes. Every article ends with access to the booking request and to direct contact. You describe your journey, we come back with a clear proposal and an assigned chauffeur.

  • 05

Is the journal available in English and Japanese?

Yes, the whole site and its articles are available in French, English and Japanese. Our Japanese clients have followed us since the early days of the company, and the content is written for them as much as for French-speaking travellers.

  • 06

    Who writes the content?

Sanaâ, founder of Rogsan Prestige, and the permanent chauffeurs who have been driving since 2012. No text is published without being read by someone who knows the road it describes.

A question with no
article yet?

Sanaâ answers directly, with no call centre and no intermediary platform. Describe your journey, your event or your trip and you will receive a clear proposal.
